THE KEY TO BOLD STRONG FAITH IN THE WORD OF GOD
Meditating the Word of God will revolutionize your faith life, helping you to think and see the end of your faith. Eastern meditation is focused on emptying your mind, but meditating with the Word of God, is cleansing your soul and helping you see the visions of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us as Believer's what to set our mind on, here in...
Philippians 4:8 (AMP)
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
So, God is telling us to think on the results of His power. The word meditate means to visualize, ponder, imagine and mutter. So when you meditate you are creating imaginations, by seeing yourself according to God's Promises to you in the Bible. I like to see it as putting on the Word. Every Promise in the Word of God is full of the riches of His grace and the power to experience it through faith.
Once you start meditating you won't want to stop. The Word of God takes on a whole new meaning, because you are allowing God to show you who your really are and what He has given you. Revelation in your life will increase and your faith life will produce one miracle after the other. It is so exciting!
Faith requires us to receive our answer when we pray. Meditating the Word of God also assists you in taking the answer through faith and NOT LETTING IT GO!
Mark 11:23 - 24 says..
23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
Don't wait any longer, make meditation a daily part of feeding and strengthening your faith.
