The Power of Praying the Word of God
The Word of God is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16). When we pray the Word of God, in faith we are appropriating the power of God and applying it in our lives and surroundings. God's power begins to work in us from the inside out. Every born again believer is a new spirit born of God. We are full of God's attributes and as we pray the Word of God, we begin to see who we are and take our place of Kingdom Authority in the earth.
We are no longer slaves and beggars in this earth. God has made us kings and priest unto Him. Even though we live on the earth, we are not of this earth. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God, where His love nature governs our lives. The Bible says that just as Jesus is, so are we in this life. 1 John 4:17 (AMP) 17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. In other words, just as the Father God loves Jesus, He loves us. Just as the Father God provides for Jesus, He provides for us. Just as the Father God protects Jesus, He protects us, etc.
Jesus did not live like a slave or a beggar when He was here on earth. Through the love of the Father, He dominated as a King here on the earth. He showed us how to think and speak in order to live as He lived here on earth, loved by the Father and receiving all provision, wisdom, light, and life from the Kingdom (where God's love nature rules).
Yet, so many of us have not tapped into this place of Kingdom Authority or experienced the unlimited levels of the love of the Father. We need to have our faith built up to expect the love of the Father in every area of our existence. From the smallest need to the greatest, the love of our Father God has prepared and made ready everything we will ever need in this life. Many have thought that the way to experience the provision from the love of the Father, was through begging, crying, and continually asking. But, Hebrew 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to be pleasing to our Father. Faith is required to receive the love life that the Father has prepared for us.
Faith is believing you receive when you pray. So when we pray, we consciously receive the answers and provisions from the love of the Father, through His Word. We maintain our faith from the time we pray, till the manifestation comes to pass in our lives. That is why training ourselves to pray the Word of God in first person present-tense, is so beneficial to developing powerful faith and a prayer life that gets answers.
When we hear ourselves speak the Word of God in first person present-tense, we are:
We need to see our speaking as a form of praying, because our words will come to pass in our lives. So training our mind, will, and emotions to speak and think in line with the Word, puts us in a place of advantage in the operation of the faith and in the prayer realm. When we speak the Word in first person present-tense daily, our senses are becoming more and more acquainted with supernatural power of God. We will find ourselves meditating, dreaming and imagining our lives with the Promises of God, instead of being anxious about when, where, why, what, or how they will come. This helps us to stay in faith, produce faith that experiences quicker answers, and increases it's capacity to live in God's love plan, which is life in abund-ance to the full, till it overflows (John 10:10).
