Proverbs 16:3 (AMP)
3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Here comes 2019! With the new year comes many new resolutions, goals and plans to make this year a great success. One of the most common ones is the resolution to lose weight. It's amazing how many people fill the gym scene at the beginning of the year determined to loose weight and get in shape.
They'll put themselves on a rigorous exercise schedule to make it happen. Unfortunately, their determination starts to die down after the first quarter of the year for different reasons. For instance, something more important comes up requiring a schedule change, or discouragement sets in because their not seeing the results as quickly as they anticipated. Whatever the reason, that resolution is put on the back burner and has become a hope for the future, rather than a let's make it happen now decision.
Another popular resolution people make at the beginning of the year, is to get out of debt and put themselves on a strict budget. For many, by the time the third quarter arrives, they are no longer following the budget, because getting out of debt is no longer as important as it was in the beginning of the year
What does it take to make a resolution happen? Succeeding at making our resolutions our reality comes through meditating the Word of God, because the Word nourishes, strengthen and empowers us at our spiritual level. We are spirit beings, we have a soul (our mind, will and emotions) and we live in our body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP) says... 23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
All the empowerment we need to successfully change our lives, starts in our spirits, then effects our mind and shows up in our body or surroundings. I like to say it like this, we become "inside builders."
Meditating the Word of God, fills us with the stamina we need to keep on going even if we have to make an adjustment to our in order to see our goals come to pass. When we are feeding our spirits with God's supernatural Power, revelation will ignite in us stirring our faith to connect with His grace (unmerited favor and His ability). So, we'll have the power we need to make the right decisions to keep our goals alive, as we keep moving forward towards them.
When our faith is alive our abilities to learn and thrive mentally operates at its highest level The Holy Spirit will led us to the resources we need to supply us the knowledge and natural understanding to bring our goals to pass. Philippians 4:13 (AMP) promises us...
13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
In summary, the more we meditate on the Word of God, the more supernatural empowerment, anointing and grace will arise in us to see our resolutions, visions and goals all come to pass. Every year will become a breeding ground for more success and the manifestation of our highest dreams to come to pass.
May 2019 be your most successful year yet!

James 1:25 (MSG)
25 But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action.
Everybody has areas in their lives that seem bound, limited and under restraint by negative emotions, memories from their past and disappointing failures. These areas are often hidden away in peoples personal lives, because the thoughts of dealing with them is intensely overwhelming. It seems easier to just hid them away and not talk about them or think about them, just pretend that they don't exist. But, they are there and when it's time for promotion, it's these areas that Satan will arise in to stop us from attaining our ultimate success.
The good news is that when we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior we are equipped with the Power of God, through the Word of God to deal with these areas and change them from barricades of defeat into gateways of freedom. The specific Promises from the Bible are full of all the Grace we need to manifest His freedom and launch us into new areas of development and victorious living.
Sound to good to be true? It is the goodness of God, to all who will trust Him and believe in His way of doing and being right. Jesus has already dealt with these hidden areas for us on the Cross and supplied us with everything needed through faith to experience true freedom.
For example, if you're living in fear, afraid to venture out in life and try new business ventures ideas or move to new places, that can really be a hindrance in life. One thing about fear is it will start in one area and maneuver its way into other areas of your life without you even realizing it. You'll just look up one day and find yourself wanting to stay safe, looking for guarantees based on natural calculations instead of using your faith to access what God has shown you to do.
God knew that fear was going to be a major obstacle for us. That's why He gave us this Promise to destroy the power of fear from our lives. 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) says... 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
Meditating this Promise will build your faith and fill your spirit with all the power you need to never allow fear in your life again. Many people think that just saying, I am not afraid over and over again will bring deliverance. While it may help a little, real and lasting deliverance comes through the Power that is in the Word of God. God stripped the power of fear from our lives so that we could use our faith and follow His instructions to live in an amazing life. Second Timothy 1:7 is full of His Power to evict all fear from our lives and bring complete freedom, not just momentary relief.
As we go into 2019, let's ground our lives more and more in the Power of God's incorruptible Word. Through meditation of the Word of God, we will draw upon His Power and experience a life full of freedom! Let's get totally free in 2019!

About Pastor Sandy Mays
Sandy found herself in an emotional strain, insecure and filled with uncertainty resulting from her failed marriage, lack of finances and mother's illness that plagued her daily. She was unsure how she would make it out of her life's turmoil and at times felt completely helpless. She had heard testimonies from others of how God turned their lives and marriages around, but wondered if God would do the same for her. She decided to believe that He would.
