Proverbs 16:3 (AMP)
3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Here comes 2019! With the new year comes many new resolutions, goals and plans to make this year a great success. One of the most common ones is the resolution to lose weight. It's amazing how many people fill the gym scene at the beginning of the year determined to loose weight and get in shape.
They'll put themselves on a rigorous exercise schedule to make it happen. Unfortunately, their determination starts to die down after the first quarter of the year for different reasons. For instance, something more important comes up requiring a schedule change, or discouragement sets in because their not seeing the results as quickly as they anticipated. Whatever the reason, that resolution is put on the back burner and has become a hope for the future, rather than a let's make it happen now decision.
Another popular resolution people make at the beginning of the year, is to get out of debt and put themselves on a strict budget. For many, by the time the third quarter arrives, they are no longer following the budget, because getting out of debt is no longer as important as it was in the beginning of the year
What does it take to make a resolution happen? Succeeding at making our resolutions our reality comes through meditating the Word of God, because the Word nourishes, strengthen and empowers us at our spiritual level. We are spirit beings, we have a soul (our mind, will and emotions) and we live in our body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP) says... 23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
All the empowerment we need to successfully change our lives, starts in our spirits, then effects our mind and shows up in our body or surroundings. I like to say it like this, we become "inside builders."
Meditating the Word of God, fills us with the stamina we need to keep on going even if we have to make an adjustment to our in order to see our goals come to pass. When we are feeding our spirits with God's supernatural Power, revelation will ignite in us stirring our faith to connect with His grace (unmerited favor and His ability). So, we'll have the power we need to make the right decisions to keep our goals alive, as we keep moving forward towards them.
When our faith is alive our abilities to learn and thrive mentally operates at its highest level The Holy Spirit will led us to the resources we need to supply us the knowledge and natural understanding to bring our goals to pass. Philippians 4:13 (AMP) promises us...
13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
In summary, the more we meditate on the Word of God, the more supernatural empowerment, anointing and grace will arise in us to see our resolutions, visions and goals all come to pass. Every year will become a breeding ground for more success and the manifestation of our highest dreams to come to pass.
May 2019 be your most successful year yet!
