How I Got My House in 3 Weeks When It Looked Impossible
What do you do when God puts something in your heart that looks impossible in the natural?
There was a time when owning my own home did not look possible based on what was happening in my life. But God told me to start building my faith and believe Him for my own home.
Through this experience, I learned that faith doesn't begin with what circumstances say; it begins with what God says.
A year before I purchased my home, I began believing God for it. I found Scriptures that supported what I was believing for, including Deuteronomy 33:23 and Isaiah 32:18, and I began praying and speaking God's promises over my life.
I didn't wait until everything looked favorable to believe. I began using a framework of faith before I could see the answer.
Then something remarkable happened. When the time came, I found and purchased my house in just three weeks.
This experience taught me something I have carried into my ministry and teaching ever since: faith needs a framework. The Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
Faith isn't something we use only when we're in trouble. God has called us to live by faith, to know His promises, believe them, speak in agreement with them, and remain persuaded even when circumstances appear to say something different.
